Tentative Lists Process
Prepare Tentative List’s document and submit to the World Heritage Center.
States Parties are encouraged to prepare their Tentative List’s document and submit the document to the Secretariat, at least one year prior to the submission of nomination dossier.
Subcommittee consider the documents
Natural/Cultural World Heritage Subcommittee consider the documents.
In case of "disagree", the document will be returned to the authorization authority to improve and re-present in step 1.
The Thailand National Committee on the World Heritage Convention consider the documents.
In case of "disagree", the document will be returned to the authorization authority to improve and re-present in step 1.
Cabinet consider the documents
In case of "disagree", the document will be returned to the authorization authority to improve and re-present in step 1
State parties submit the documents to the World Heritage Center.
Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning (ONEP), a focal point as national coordinator, submit the documents to the World Heritage Center by April 15 of each year
The Secretariat of the World Heritage Center checks for compliance of the documentation and transmitted to the relevant Advisory Bodies for information.
When all information has been provided, the tentative list is presented annually to the Committee. The Committee will adopt the tentative list on the general meeting of the World Heritage Committee. (Between June - July of each year)
